Not allowing sufficient distance between cars

1 Example

You are driving a car with studless tires at 40km/h. You have 15 meters between you and the car in front. The car in front stops at a red light and you try to stop your car. However, you brake too suddenly, the car slips and crashes with another car.

2 What did you do wrong?

  • You did not expect that the car in front of you was going to stop.
  • You did not keep enough distance between you.
  • You stepped on the brake too suddenly.

3 How to avoid accidents

  • Shift down.
  • Keep your distance.
  • Step on the brake little by little.
  • Be extra careful-especially in the shade.

*If you can stop the car without braking rapidly,it means you are a good driver.
