Geography

“Heart of Japan”

Nagano Prefecture is located near the center of Japan, and in close proximity to Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.Occupying the fourth largest area in Japan,Nagano Prefecture enjoys rich nature and a spectacular landscape. The mountains rise above 3,000 meters and forests covers 80% of the prefecture.
